What are PRP injections?
During Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections, blood from your own body is used to create a regenerative injectable solution that can stimulate natural cellular regeneration and tissue repair. The injections release a concentrated dose of growth factors and proteins which cause your own pool of stem cells to enter a state of cellular regeneration and tissue repair wherever the PRP is placed.
It is important to work with a physician using a high quality preparation system as otherwise PRP can be contaminated with inflammatory cells. Our PRP system removes the cells that promote inflammation, ensuring that you receive an end product of PRP that is a solution rich in platelets and monocytes, which provide growth factors to promote healing.
